Off grid change over made easy.
I used two of them in my off grid system when I changed from a 12 volt to a 48 volt system. Made that part of the change over easy. It works perfectly, easy to install with the wiring instructions on the unit. Doesn’t make any noise that i can tell. I would insure there is a good amount of ventilation if planning on drawing over 50% of its capacity, sense it does make heat. I don’t plan on using over 50% of it capacity, hoping that way it will last a few years.

Step-down converter does it's job.
Amazon seems to think this is a clothing item? Their algorithm is asking me to include the words warmth sheerness and thickness in this review. However this is a DC DC voltage converter. 48 volt input, 12 volt output. It seems to work well and is not electrically noisy. The very sturdy aluminum heatsink casing gives it a nice look, and keeps it cool. No extraneous LED lights added, just the basics, getting the job done!

Installation PictrureIssue
Do not install using the website picture (see attached), which has the wires reversed. Follow the diagram on the back of the product. The red-black wires go to the 48V input and the yellow-black wires go to the 12V output. I burnt up a reducer by following the picture. The company did quickly replace it when I described what happened.

Perfect downconverter for golf cart
Installed in golf cart for downconverting from 48 to 12 volts to run automotive accessories.

Lasts a year
UPDATE 2/28/24:Purchased 1/4/23. Had in use for 1 year and 20 days and it decided to just quit. Worked decent the whole time for 9,240 hours. would have been nice if it would have lasted as stated. Service life over 100,000 hours that is 4,166 days.

They can take the load
I have a 48 v system in my overland truck so I needed to power all my 12v lights accessories etc. I bought 2 thinking I would need more and they do the job better than I expected. Good quality well made!
