I'd been looking at all sorts of complicated ways of mounting a fixture that would bring the light bulb down so it would light the room instead of the inside of the can or a single spot of light on the floor. Without needed to crawl in the attic and replace the junction boxes.These made it possible to trivially remove the bulb, and put a flush mount LED covering the now unused recessed can.

There's a little window cubby in my loft that has a single can light. I wanted to modify it so I could use a lower pendant light so I can make it a reading space. Instead of converting the can light I was able to use this adapter. All I had to do is screw in the adapter and connected to the two wires of the pendant. The two wires alone is not strong enough to hold up the pendant so I had to get another adapter to add a bar across the opening. This is very important so don't miss this step.

I have converted all my old lights to the low-profile recessed LED light that everyone is installing now. What is nuts is that they do not make the same-looking ones to convert existing can lights to the same LEDS. Since I wanted them all to look alike, I had to add these pigtails to be able to screw them into the existing socket and use the lights I want. DUmb that I needed them but happy I got them!

Well made, and good quality. These are exactly what I needed for recessed lighting to adapt to already installed sockets.They came well packaged, and so far have performed well!

The E26 adapters are OK. The price is OK for 6 pieces.What I don't like is the strip wire at the end, it is too short, only 1/4 inch or less. it should be at least 1/2 inch long or Better yet 3/4 inch long so the wire nut can connect the strip better. I have to use the wire stripper to make it 3/4 inch long.

Using a C by GE motion sensing light switch directly on a fluorescent bulb light fixture in my bathroom didn’t seem to work well. Light switch comes with an adapter, but it’s designed for screw bulb sockets. I used these handy devices to convert fluorescent-tube bulb fixture into screw-bulb fixture in order to make use of the adapter. Glad I did. Motion sensor function works flawlessly now.
