Anvo Mini AV To HDMI Converter with AV Cable

3 months strong, doing its job!!!

Too bad the A/V cable it comes with isn't a couple more inches longer. Other than that I plugged it up as soon as I got home last night and it solved my problem. That problem was a humming noise coming from the A/V connection from the cable box to the TV.

I received my converter and anxiously connected it between my VCR and Denon A/V receiver. The only HDMI port left available on my receiver was the one labeled "Game". Don't think that makes a difference. When I fired up the VCR got a very nice picture but no sound. Played around with all the connections, disconnected power to no avail? Could it be the HDMI cable? Anybody have a suggestion? Otherwise I will have to return this item

Works as advertised. Don't bother buying that cheap white plastic one!

Got this converter in a timely manner, deadly hooked it up and played an old "Ace Ventura" videotape. The picture was OK, but got loud buzzing through the central surround sound speaker. I tried adjusting the receiver audio program with no change. I am going to exchange it and try again. Then will update my review.

Does exactly what it's supposed to.
