Amazing for this first time moms crazy anxiety! My daughter did not mind it at all and it eased my mind for my late walker.

you might be thinking this is kind of silly. unnecessary. "just watch your kid more closely." me, too! but let me tell you--IT'S NOT SILLY and it's been a lifesaver. we have no carpet in our house, only hard floors. which is great...except our little 8 month old is on the edge of walking--he loves to move, pulls himself up on furniture, toys, our legs, anything he can to STAND. and he's also got a big lil' head! his fearlessness isn't matched with his abilities of yet. lots of little bruises on his forehead since he started sitting up, a couple falling backward onto the tile--you can't babyproof the entire floor. the last little fall had me keeping watch of him for 48 hours cause it was just a little scary. so i thought 'let's floor-proof the baby' and searched of all things, "baby head protection" haha. i immediately ordered this, and since it arrived? NOT ONE BRUISE, NOT ONE BUMP-AND-CRY. i work from home and am the primary caregiver of our son, i literally cannot be next to him all day, though. not to mention, we tend to let him roam, closing the doors of rooms he shouldn't be in; we like to inspire freedom and independence. this little hat definitely helps. he gets a little hot under it every now and then (Arizona), but we take it off any opportunity we get! feeding, bath, naps, reading, etc. we take it off. but when he's up and about, doing his baby exploration thing, he's got this on and i can rest assured the worst-case won't happen. I KNOW IT SEEMS SILLY, I KNOW! and i'm sure mother-in-laws everywhere will be rolling their eyes just like mine, but who cares when safety comes first? i'm not going to risk having to sit and watch for signs of big-booboos when i can prevent it. the best $15 i ever spent!

I cannot even count how many accidents I would've had if it wasn't for this helmet. I have such relief when my 13 month old is walking around playing on his own. I have so much faith in this little helmet. I can take a few steps away from him without worrying. This helmet has been a lifesaver!!

We got this for our daughter who would bang her head on the floor when frustrated. She was hitting her head on tile and pergo flooring so she was giving herself bruises. It needs to be tied tightly but the strings are long enough to double knot and they stay tied (even with little fingers trying to untie them). It keeps her from hurting herself and is starting to discourage her from doing it at all.

It's okay. It's easy to just pull off, and gaps in top leave lots of open spots for baby to hit head.

Baby chews on straps, I fear it could get wrapped around his neck. I do not trust this product.
