I bought this because it was a different tag for my luggage. But I did end up getting one for my backpack and left it at an event. The nice person that found it was able to scan the tag and call me so I could retrieve it from them.Yes, I realize that there are other ways to tag your items. But the tag is durable and by putting a little drop of super glue on the clasp, it is more likely that the place you put the tag on would wear out before the tag comes loose.I like the unique way to identify your items. Great product!

We often check our luggage when traveling on international trips. I know carry less and carry it on plane. But when traveling on cruise ships having enough stuff for two weeks is really nice. So the bags go on the plane/bus at times. Knowing that you have a bit of privacy with the QR codes instead of your name/address etc. If the code is scanned by anyone you get an alert on phone. You can also add a great deal of details to your profile with tag which can help get you and bag reconnected. Tag comes with a wire string which makes it very hard for tag to be separated from bag.

Our order got delayed and showed up a day and a half before our trip. I was really excited to use our new tags, since our last ones were ripped off our last trip. I set up the tag which was super easy, I then started it on our bag and put a dab of loctite in it screw Hub so that it stay properly connected (no loosing our tag this time). When our luggage came into Denver from Little Rock we were dismayed to find that our tag yet again was missing! I'm not really sure what happened maybe the cord frayed in the handling and just snapped, or maybe the hub wasn't secured properly. Either way the tag is lost, but we still have our bag.

We all put our name and address and phone number on our luggage tags. And yes it's nice to have something just in case the luggage is lost. But anyone could look at your info at anytime. I know what you are thinking well the qr code does the same. Yes but to a point. You don't have to put any info you don't want. The qr code shares only the info you want to when scanned. On the back end is your info that can not be seen. Plus, anytime and everytime the qr code is scanned you get an alert. Does a regular luggage tag do that? I don't think so. With a regular paper luggage tag you don't know how many people have seen your information.i plan on buying 8 more of these for my trip in 2024 for all my luggage. I guarantee this is a product you use for a peace of mind.

Good tagging mechanism all around. Very easy to use, update your information, and the recommendation of using a drop of superglue or Loctite when securing the cable to your travel item is highly recommended.

I travel a lot and have had lost luggage in the past. I love this.

love the way they do the QR code but have trouble registering for it not a fan

They are great and all on the same app which makes them great these are great for people shipping things back to you but watch who you order them from and perfect and all the information is in one spot

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED, I BOUGHT 3 OF THESE AND THEY ARE EXPENSIVE. I ATTACHED THEM ACCORDING TO INSTRUCTIONS AND ADVICE AND 1 OF THEM BROKE OFF ON OUR FIRST TRIP. I DULY WENT ON TO THE DYNOTAG WEBSITE TO CLAIM UNDER WARRANTY BUT THEY CHARGE THE COST OF THE TAG JUST TO SEND!USPS First Class Package International Service $22.96NEEDLESS TO SAY, I HAVEN'T CLAIMED AND I AM OUTSIDE OF THE REFUND WINDOW. COMPLETE SCAM AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I bought the tag in late summer and after two trips (long haul to the US and short haul to South of France), the cable strap has snapped and now unable to lock.

Handy to have and solid quality

I bought this a couple of months ago and after 3 domestic flights, the QR code ink is wearing off and it's no longer scannable. Poor quality makes it unusable, which is really unfortunate because otherwise the tag is solid and has held up well. Will be requesting a refund.
