When I read all about this three globe lamp, I thought to myself, "If it's half as good as described, it will be perfect." Well, I must say now that it has arrived in its wonderfully designed packaging (with nothing damaged, including the light bulbs!), I realize that it is better than advertised. Even my husband commented that the lighting is perfect for our living room. We especially like the top lamp that shines on the ceiling and reflects its light all over the room...and in three levels. The two mother-daughter side lights are perfect, too. Can't wait to work my cryptograms this evening...I'm only on about 453 of 3500. I need this light at night! I can't thank the designers more than with this review. It's sturdy. It's easy to assemble. There wasn't a lot of unnecessary packaging, but it was tight and appropriate. And, one feature that's very thoughtful is the little reminder inside each lamp as to the wattage appropriate for that lamp. You can't make a mistake and put something too strong in there that way! And, a little silly side note...our kittens enjoyed the cardboard packaging. And the earth will, too. No styrofoam at all. Everything was biodegradable. Kudos!

Went together easily. Like the varied setting in the top light. The arms bend to focus on couch or chair area. This is a good lamp. I like the style. Great item for the price too!

I don’t typically write reviews, but this product warrants it.I was looking for a lamp that can provide a lot of light, since I don’t have any overhead lights in the living room, and this one fits the bill.It’s great that you can light each bulb separately, that the top light has 3 brightness levels, and you can even direct the 2 side lamps.It was packaged well, shipped quickly, very easy to assemble (no tools required), and it is working well.I agree with another reviewer that it would be nice if the shades were frosted glass, instead of plastic, but for this price point, it is good deal.Overall, I’m very pleased and am considering buying another one.

I bought this light to illuminate a dim music studio. The main light provides good illumination for the room. The 3-way bulb gives good control over the amount of brightness. The 2 side lamps illuminate the music stand and the playing position which allowed me to get rid of multiple smaller light fixtures and free up a couple of electric outlets. Assembly was very easy. I read several reviews and went slowly and made sure that the threads did not get crossed when assembling the main post. Took less than 10 minutes. The base is quite heavy and the lamp is very stable on both hard floors and on a rug. The plastic shades are not exciting but they work well. I tried different glass shades but got poor results with the 2 side lamps. The additional weight of the glass vs plastic was too much for the flexible arms and they sagged down. Not a problem with the main light but I thought it looked better with all shades matching so I used the plastic ones on all 3 lights. This lamp was the best value for the price that I found on Amazon. I would put a different unit in my living room but that fixture is much more decorative and costs almost 3X as much. More than I needed for this application. Highly recommended for function, performance and value. If you want something more fashionable be prepared to pay more.

Bought this to replace a standing lamp we had. This one is much sturdier and has two side lights (with separate switches). Comes with LED bulbs, the top one being a three way. The bulbs are a lower color temperature and produce yellow light - great for a nice mood, but not as good for reading.We like the lamp a lot and it is quite sturdy and it does not wobble around on the base.

I put this lamp in my office, which is otherwise dimly lighted. It brightened up the room right away. It's nice that the main bulb is 3-way, so you can control the amount of light. The total brightness for the 3 bulbs is equivalent to 350 watts, as much as most people would ever need, even with no other lamps in the room.I love this lamp and can't think of any downsides. Buy it! You won't be disappointed!

This is a pretty lamp for the money. Easy to put together, and stylish. I love the one-three light option. Also, great that it comes with the bulbs. I like that the globes are plastic not glass because it is safe if you have young children. It is packaged well.

Pro:-Decent price for a stand up floor lamp-Like the directional lighting especially for reading-Assembly was pretty easyCon:-Shades could be nicer, maybe frosted glass...switches and bending arms, too...more of a 50's style...but I knew this when I bought it- Not sure why the power cord comes out on top of the base and not under (the base clearly has a slot underneath).-Lastly, my rating lost 1 Star because the main bulb supplied went out after two weeks! Hope it's not a short in the socket.

Love this lamp! Provides lots of light with the trilight and the other smaller lights are adjustable and are wonderful for doing my cross stitch and knitting. 5 star from me!

This is a perfect lamp. It can provide light for me to do my hand stitching or to read by and it provides some subtle light when I’m watching television. I can choose which one of those to turn on or can have on many at the same time. I also love the fact that the top light is a tri- light so we can have the right light for whatever occasion we require.

I don't usually bother to write reviews, but I did this time because I am very pleased with this lamp. I highly recommend it. It was easy to assemble..took a few minutes. The base is heavy and the pole is metal, and very sturdy. It would be VERY difficult to knock it over! The only part of it that left me a bit disappointed was the shades. They are plastic...but I am sure that I could replace them with glass.

I think it could be made clearer that this is a two pin American Plug & therefore need a plug adapter for USA. Also the larger 16w bulb failed after 10 days but after sending a couple of messages to supplier they agreed to replace & sent me two bulbs as the supplier could only purchase two bulbs. These 3 way bulbs are quite expensive to buy in the UK
