Updated review - replacement one is a keeper!
[Updated Review]The company contacted me and offered me a free replacement chair and it worked perfectly. I must have just received a lemon the first time. I love this chair! It is sleek looking, and SO EASY TO CLEAN. I like that she can also use it as she grows up too - that is a major plus in my book. The only thing I wish was different is that I wish the waist straps connected into the back of the chair instead of the seat of the chair. Then it would go around her waist and not her legs. The tray stays in tight enough that I’m not at all worried about her falling out or anything though. Overall I like it a lot.I also really appreciate the customer service. They sent me a few Other baby items as an “apology” for the first high chair, and all of them are great items. I will be buying WeeSprout items again, due to the quality of those items, the quality of the replacement chair, and the customer service.[Original Review]Horrible parts. I received the item today and one of the feet won’t go on ANY of the legs. There is clearly something wrong with the threading, but I can’t tell what. After many attempts to put it on each leg, it finally got stuck on one of them at an awkward angle and I can’t get it off. I guess I need to return it all as defective, since I can’t use it. I think it would have been really cute and nice if it had been functional.

Great HighChair!
Writing this review because it’s important that people know we love this chair! It’s about as challenging as any self assembled product out there. We LOVE LOVE the sleek design, how light it is, how practical it is to clean. The tray might be a little more difficult to remove then maybe one that swings open, but my daughter is 9 months, and we don’t need to take it on and off to put our child in.

Tray is very difficult to remove, but super easy to clean!
The media could not be loaded. **update: I just bumped up my review by two stars because I had the pleasure to work with customer support on an issue, and they bent over backwards to help make the chair safer for my baby. They clearly care about their product and customers.**I am a serial high chair owner, as a busy mom who has moved many times. Over the years I have owned both very posh and expensive, complicated high chairs, to very cheap, simple high chairs, and everything in between. The absolute most important thing to have in a high chair is basic cleanability. THIS ONE HAS THAT! But the second most important thing about a high chair is that it's easy to use. This one doesn't have that. I love the simple to clean surfaces, but there are serious design flaws to this high chair.1. The tray is nearly impossible to remove with one hand. Check out my video if you want a good laugh at my attempt to remove it (with no food on it mind you-- imagine if there had been food!).2. There is nowhere to store the tray when not in use. You can see from my photos I have temporarily rigged a hook, but I doubt it will hold up to being washed with a metal ring on it. There should be a hook built into the chair. Period. The manufacturer not including this is just saying they don't care about their customer.3. There are no wheels. It's hard to move a high chair with no wheels. I have owned high chairs with wheels, and it's a back saver. I fashioned some baby socks on the feet of this chair to help it slide on the floor better, and it's working ok like that.4. The rungs on the legs for the foot rest do not line up. Honestly, how can you sell a high chair like this? We have to loosen one leg to get the rungs to face toward each other. As you can see I haven't added the foot rest yet because I am not comfortable with my big baby sitting in a chair with a loose leg, as he may cause it to unravel and fall off over time (he's a rough and tumble 13 month old).5. There is NO adjusting the height. They sent us three small foot add-ons that in total made it as high as the normal high chair we already had. We thought based on the description that we would be able to adjust for table height to let it scoot in without a tray, but that is impossible because it won't go low enough and the seat itself blocks you from scooting it close enough. I'm sad about this because it's one of the main reasons I bought it, thinking it could grow with my child. Not the case. Once bubs needs to scoot up to the table, I will have to buy something else. So I'd say this is only for babies, not toddlers at the dinner table. Sure the chair will convert to a small kid's chair, but not tall enough for the dinner table to be an actual booster seat. No way to make this a booster on a typical height dinner table (and I tried it at two dining tables).6. Not dishwasher safe tray. Maybe it could be, but instructions say to wipe clean. I was afraid to put it in the dishwasher.7. There is a slat on top of the tray that appears to be for a strap, but I didn't see how to use it. It seems completely unnecessary, and just a crevice for food to smoosh into it.Ok, that's the negative. But what do I like about it?The things that are keeping me from returning it (so far-- I am only on day one) are:1. Ridiculously easy to clean. As mentioned before, this is the number one thing you need in a high chair, aside from safety. It took me five seconds to clean the seat after dinner tonight, and I normally spend 20-30 minutes cleaning my Joovy Foodoo (which I refuse to be a slave to any longer).2. The seat is roomy enough for my baby's cute chubby bottom and chunky thighs. It would not be ideal for a very small baby, but I think it would work for most first eaters.3. The tray size is OK. Not very big, but it works for us, and I prefer it smaller because it takes up less space on my counter or table when I need to remove it.4. The modern design is a nice touch in my modern kitchen, and lends itself nicely to various decor.5. The footprint is smaller than average high chairs.6. Quality is adequate. Not the best, but not necessarily lacking. It's not wobbly, and it seems sturdy enough. I wouldn't leave a baby unattended in it though.Tip: the legs will arrive with plastic sealed onto them for shipment, and we were easily able to keep it on while installing. It will be great for keeping it clean. Easy to remove it if you don't like it, but you cannot see the plastic from a few steps back. If you hate cleaning like me, you will like this high chair, and I can safely say there's not much better out there for the price point. That being said, the price is higher than it should be considering the flaws I mentioned.

Great High Chair! Easy to Clean!
The chair is a great idea. Needs some adjustments. I give it five stars for easy to clean. We love it for that. It did not go together easy. You have to thread the legs just right in order to screw them in all the way and line up the holes to be able to attach the footrest. It was never quite right and the chair wobbles. It does adjust to different heights by adding different levels to the bottom feet but it’s a bit of a pain. The belt straps are so slick that they easily loosen causing them to become loose. Our toddler loves to climb up into this by herself and buckle up and it was nice to be able to slide her up to the table to eat with us.Update: The company did send me some tricks to help get the high chair adjusted properly so it doesn’t wobble. They are very kind and responsive. I would recommend giving it a try.

Not a good high chair
This is not a good high chair for a number of reasons. The tray is very difficult to remove and the seat is not comfortable for your child. I have to wedge a towel behind my 12 month old so that she can sit with some support. The straps are the worst part; they come undone actually making it possible for the child to squirm out of the seat. Ive tried knotting the straps but even that doesn't keep enough traction on the straps to keep them in place. The tray is small and okay at first but it wont grow up with a toddler. I am ordering a Joovy highchair to replace this. It only redeeming feature is that it has a more modern look but really isn't functional.
