My mom uses this with her cochlear implant and this works pretty well. It is pretty easy to install. All you need to do is to remove the cover which exposes the four holes on the top and then place it into your cochlear case/cleaner. For my model, you do not need to latch it or anything. It is simple just to put the block in and done. Once it is open, you cannot reseal it so be aware of that. It last for two months at a time. You can write the date you start using it on the actual product. Be aware that when writing on this, it is easy to smear as ink can take time to dry on this. I just use a permanent marker but it still smears. The block last for quite sometime and keeps the hearing aid dry and clean. I am pretty happy with it. It does not have any odd odor or cause any kind of irritation for use. It is easy to mark and know when to replace it if you write the date. Overall, it is a good brick to have and last for quite sometime.

I have used hearing aids for 25 years. The dry bricks are the best way to dry your hearing aids. Just make sure you are using a hearing aid dryer that works with the dry bricks. My ears go in the dryer and in the morning they are all dry, warm, and you do not have to take the batteries out. That is great. Also you can use the dry bricks to dry any hearing accessories.

It is not clear that the two month replacement period specified by the company is based on empirical evidence that the effectiveness of the cartridge degrades after two months, or that profits from re-orders are not the primary motivation behind that specification. :-{)}

I'm old and am forced to use moisturizers. They get into the in-the-ear hearing aids and the only way to keep my hearing aids working is to use a drystore while I'm sleeping.

I use a brick in my hearing aid drier every night and it lady's for 2 months. This time I bought enough to last me awhile. They are really great.

The four packages all have the same expiation date which means I will have to discard one whole package because it will be significantly out of date before use. I will never buy this many at the same time again.
