50 watt Renogy panel does not fit.
Good quality product but, does not fit Renogy 50 watt solar panel. I asked if it was compatible with the panel and the Robot said yes. I am going to modify the mount so it does fit rather than send it back.

Flexible and sturdy once assembled
Bought this mount for a 100-watt solar panel for the front gate opener. The assembly is straightforward, however it would be handy if they included some plugs for the ends of the extrusions. This would keep the bolts from sliding out during assembly. Please note that the U-bolts are 100 mm (~3.9 inches) with short thread length, so they will not work on 2 1/2" fence post. I purchased some 2.5" U-bolts and redrilled the cross members to accommodate the new u-bolts. The assembly is "pretty floppy" until you get the cross members installed. So, per the description, two pairs of hands would be helpful (though not essential). In all a sturdy bracket to which the panel mounts easily.

A good option but not so easy to install
Bought 4 of these for my DIY solar project. I had Renogy 100w panels and I wanted to install them on two poles. This is what this bracket is for. The assembly is not complicated but may take some time, especially if you have several to assemble. The metal parts are durable aluminum, well made and preform their function well with no issues, will not corrode. But, as the joints are adjustable (so that different angles can be set for the panel) you end up with a thing that needs to be properly leveled and adjusted while being installed on a pole, possibly standing on a ladder. It was not that easy. The U- bracket that connects the mount with the pole is massive and is made for a really thick pole, mine were smaller, so I ended up buying new U-brackets and drilling different holes for those. As both the panel and these mounts were from Renogy I had no issues attaching panels with 4 small brackets that hold each in place. Overall, recommend this mount but you will need to be patient with the installation.

28 washers didn’t fit. 2 screws missing. Design issues.
2 boxes had Missing hardware. Got 28 washers that didn’t fit in the two boxes i ordered. Plus two screws missing which meant I had to buy more myself. Wasting time and money.Poor design. Was unable to rotate the frame 45deg angle to the sun as the holes didn’t line up to give free range for rotation.Unclear instructions: wasted time.

Expect missing parts and have a friend ready to help assemble. Sharp edges watch your
I ordered two kits and one kit was missing the entire bag of hardware and a U-Bolt. Additionally they sent the wrong size washers. I called the company and asked for another bag of hardware and they said you can't do that we just send another kit. So after receiving three kits total I didn't have some parts. Very disappointing when the framework is well built with just a couple of design flaws. It could be a really nice product. Better plan for a few trips to the hardware store if you buy these

Excellent solar panel mount for the price
This is a great solar panel mount for the price. I bought two of them for a remote transmitter project. Highly recommend.

Very Strong & Stable Mounts at a Great Price
I used these mounts to install my two Newpowa 100Watt Solar Panels to an existing pole. The mounts are well built and solid. Don't be overwhelmed by all the bolts, nuts and washers; follow the instructions and you'll be able to assemble these mounts in short order. When I first assembled the mounts I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to use them with my panels. The Newpowa panels are large square panels which differ from other 100Watt panels which are rectangular. This seemed to be a problem because they were a bit too wide to securely mount without the charge block on the back of the panel butting up against the cross beam. After some remeasuring and reorienting the panels I was able to mount them and they have been working perfectly for the last several weeks. The U bracket is very large so I had to install a 2x4 on the pole to give it enough girth to secure the U bracket in place and prevent the whole assembly from spinning. I am very happy with the end result and the solar panels are properly aligned with the sun. One thing to keep in mind adjusting the angle is time consuming as you have to manually torque each bolt when adjusting the angles. I suggest slightly tightening them until you have the angle you want then go back and torque down each bolt.

Design could use improvement for M8 T-Bolt attachment to L-Bracket
The hardware package had only 9 M8 Cap Head Bolts, should have had 10. Not the end of the world, but it was an aggravation non-the-less. Main reason for the 3/5 rating was the difficulty in fastening the T-Slotted Brackets to the L-Bracket with the M8 T-Bolts. The holes in the L-Bracket for the M8 T-Bolts need to be relocated further out ...to allow more room for attaching and securing the M8 T-Bolt nuts. (Barely enough clearance from the protruding M8 Cap Head Bolt Nuts that secure the L-Brackets to the L-Channel to allow for attaching and securing the M8 T-Bolts.)To make matters worse, one of the T-Slotted Brackets was crushed on one end from shipping damage. Somewhere during shipping, this was hit hard or run over by something heavy. Would have sent it back for a replacement, but I needed the Pole Mount pronto for mounting my panel. The basic design for this product is good and the assembly is doable as is. It just needs some massaging for clearance issue that I mentioned. The damage to the product was totally on shipping.
