The New York Times 36 Hours USA & Canada Northeast

Book arrived in plastic wrap, but when opened, several pages inside were torn.Also, I ordered this book thinking it would be more in-depth than the 36 hours in the US and Canada, but rather this is only the Northeast section from that book, not a book with extra itineraries.It is unfortunate that I paid to have it overnight shipped for a road trip this weekend.

I would rate it to anyone that is about to travel.. gives to great IDEAS as well as places if great intrest

Taught me stuff I did not know and upped my knowledge of the surrounding areas in the Northeast. A good resource book!

I like the idea that when you only have 36 hours there are things you can see and do.

Bought as a gift it was on my sisters Amazon Wish List and she seemed happy to get it!

The maps are somewhat incomplete as to location of each particular attraction.

Used on a trip to Brooklyn and went to a recommend place which was nothing special - disappointed - can't believe they could not find something more interesting.

this eliminates the guess work of being spontaneous -- ensuring a rich and fulfilling experience close to home. I think I will slowly purchase all of the "36 Hours" series and expand my collection.

Very inspiring

I bought this as I thought the "regional ones" would have more detailed information about the different cities than the bigger overall book (USA & Canada). But it seems that it is just the same but divided in several, much smaller books.Doesn't include Canada!
