AIMS Power 2500 Watt 24 VDC Power Inverter

Works very nice. Very good quality it. Don’t drain the batteries as bad as some of the other power converters on market

I tried using a 1500 watt heater (40 amps), and it kept acting like it was overloaded, and shut down.So I reduced the load to an RV trailer, using about 600 watts (20 amps), and it still shut down and wouldn't run it.Won't run what I need.

This inverter is not a fancy bells and whistles inverter. I am impressed with it's low standby power usage. It is powering my shed with 8 LiFeO4 280ah batteries. I used fine stranded #6 jumper cables to bridge from the batteries to the inverter. Currently the inverter has powered everything I've thrown at it. It runs lights, power tools, vacuum cleaner and battery charger for my tools. Hot wired the remote on/off switch to a wireless remote so I could conserve power.Update... I have now used it for 2 years. It has performed flawlessly for this time. It is a modified sine wave so I was not able to power certain LED lights. I have had to return these. It draws only about 10 watts in standby. I have even run an airless paint sprayer for half hour painting my shed. I am impressed with the quality.Update 2 Retired the inverter as I had too many electronic devices not work properly with MSW output. Still keeping it as my backup. After all these years of 7x24 use, it still works like a champ.

Bought this because of good reviews on the large industrial AIMS inverter. The only reason I gave it one star is because o stars is not available. Am upgrading my off grid system to 24 volts and so need a 24 volt inverter. My old inverter is a Xantrex 1500 Watt which runs lights, computer, vacuum cleaner etc. and occasionally a chop saw or skillsaw. This 2500 watt Aims has much less power than the 1500 watt Xantrex. The Aims won't run either saw, it kicks off and starts beeping. Even my little bench grinder which is only 500 watts (1000 to 1200 for starting) kicks it off about half the time.In the past when I have purchased something from Amazon that didn't work they sent me a UPS call tag for free return shipping. I had to pay $16.50 to return this and haven't yet received my refund.

The inverter at least work. It came with bent edges and the negative conector was badly bent. The box was all broken.

Unfortunately, Thinking Aims was a good brand to buy, it is not. Two major problems with this inverter. First, the low voltage cutoff is too low. If you run power in the night, it will overdischarge your batteries ruining them. Second at just over a year with mild usage, the ventilation fans have failed therby causing it to overheat. I have computer fans from the 90s that still run, why would these fail ?

NOT A REAL 120 VOLTS ac IN THE OUTS , WE PUT 24 VOLTS DC INPUTS , AND RECEIVE AN AWFUL LOW POWER IN THE OUTPUTS , ONLY 87.3 Volts AC . WE HAVE A REAL GOOD 24 Volts DC Battery .whywhywhyNEED TO RESOLVE ----LOW VOLTAGE OUTS ..

DOA... seriously my luck. Did not get around to putting the system together until 3 months later. Can not return... learn from my mistake. Unit just reads E01 and outputs no power. Manual has no such error code.
