Great Fit, might need a little patience.
Installed in my GE electric dryer, model: dcvh515ef0ww.Quick Update: This replacement did eventually break, about 21 months later. But for the price, I’m not going to be too mad about it. Sourcing an OEM is just not happening at this point. Bought 2 this time so I’m ready again in 2026. Still 5 stars!I was assured that a dryer belt I purchased at a local hardware superstore would be a suitable fit for my dryer, despite it being about an inch shorter than the original belt. I spent too much time, and bruised my arms trying to force it to fit.Thankfully Amazon had this in stock to deliver to me next day. Install was completed approximately 10 minutes after the driver left the package on my porch. This does seem to be a perfect fit/replacement for the original WE12M22.Due to the size/shape of the dryer, getting both arms in under the drum to wind the belt around the motor and idler pulley is not very easy. Just be patient or find a friend with skinny strong arms to help out.

So far so good.
I bought this aftermarket belt because it was available next day. We just can't be without a dryer more than a couple days so I jumped on it even though with most things I try and buy OEM.The belt out of the box was different than the oem... it was rubber and resembled a really skinny serpentine belt. However it looked well maid and sturdy. Its been a few weeks and several loads later and its still working fine. I replaced the bearing the same time because you can bet it will need replacing too if your belt has given out. I also figure by replacing this cheap little part it will also allow the belt to work easier. For me it was not an easy install... (not the belts fault) there is a lot of great videos on how to do it but for me i cut myself a few times and struggled... i wonder if some people accidentally damaged the belt they ordered when they went to instal... a small nick could potentially compromise the belt...*UPDATE * This belt just snapped on me last week so essentially I got over a year and a half out of it. Luckily I ordered an OEM belt at the same time so my dryer now has an OEM belt.... i would say go with OEM or if in a pinch like i was get this belt. Nice thing is is that since i did this same repair not long ago, this time it was much easier.

How Durable Are They?
For anyone curious how long these last... i have bought a few of these inexpensive belts. We use the dryer about 4 times a week. You can expect these belts to last between 12 and 14 months. I don't think that's too bad for the price. Also don't be a fool like me and wear gloves when you change the belt. You will cut yourself on the metal edges of the dryer no matter how careful you are. Also I finally marked which screws on the dryer I need to remove to change the belt. I always end up taking out more screws than I need to.

Good Fit
Dryer belts are easy to replace, this one has worked well for nearly a year, we'll see if it can go for two.

Broke after 2 loads
I received and installed this belt yesterday. No obvious defect on the belt from visual inspection. I am quite familiar with replacing belt, this was installed quickly and safely. The dryer and drum ran well for two loads, but it tore down right during the 3rd time it was running. Note that I had already bought this item and it last 2 years only. Clearly poor quality material.

Fixed my $800 dryer for $8 bucks
GE 7.0 Cu. Ft. Super Capacity DCVH680EJWW Electric DryerMy original belt did not break, but had somehow wrapped itself around the tension arm such that the belt was super tight and the motor could not turn it. I could turn it by hand, but that was at a much slower speed. I had to cut the belt to get it out. The new belt works GREAT and I recommend replacing the Rear Drum Bearing Sleeve and the Dryer Front Drum Gliders at the same time. Amazon carries all of these parts for a fraction of the cost of the OEM. Note that many dryers, GE included, have a locking position for the tensioning arm which allows you to preposition the arm locked and loaded prior to installing the drum and belt. Once installed the tension arm with pulley MUST be released from the lock in order to get enough tension to turn the drum with a load of cloths in it. Otherwise the belt will slip due to insufficient tension. I learned this after struggling to get tension arm loaded up with my bear hands with the drum installed. The tension arm load lock will save you a lot of frustration!
