Bordette Design Decorative Classroom Border

I purchased this to spruce up my classroom bulletin boards. They aren’t going to “wow” any students, but that’s not their purpose. One of my coworkers and I waxed nostalgic about growing up seeing similar border used.I was surprised when I found out Pacon makes borders with patterns. I have a hard time shelling out money for something few people are going to care about. This was, for me, a cheaper alternative to some of the other borders I’ve seen.Some people are bothered by the corrugated cardboard face on this border. It did make hanging the border difficult at times. Stapling it down can crush the ridges if you are not careful.Personally, I like this kind of border. I can cut it to size with less waste. It ships in a smaller box. Storing this border is easier for me as it is meant to be rolled. I find the texture to be interesting (my wife, also a teacher, thinks it looks cheap). Pacon sells their solid colors in a larger size role. It would have been nice to purchase a patterned border in a similar size roll.
